Decent Stay
I have very high expectation to the hotel as it listed as 4-stars hotel. However, when I got there, it looks more like a hostel. That doesn't bother me much. The room has this smell in it, and the cleanness doesn't meet the 4-stars hotel par. Overall, I'm fine with it for the amount I paid for this hotel. They do have a decent breakfast and they have free snacks, ice cream, and late snack. Their location is very close to the night market which is good.

Great service. I called for extra bottle of water and even though they explain they are unable to get them to me soon because they lack of manpower. They still call to check back again when they have more manpower.

Central, convenient to access to different places.
There are a few Kindness hotels in the neighbourhood and nearby each other. For this hotel, it is convenient to walk to either Formosa Boulevard station and Kaohsiung main station. Overall, convenient and centralised. In the neighbourhood, there are eateries, supermarket and Liuhe night market. The hotel provides free flow of ice cream, cakes, tea and coffee which guest can enjoy. Also there is breakfast and dinner include too. Although the menu are pretty similar, we found it is a really great deal. We totally enjoy our 7 nights stay in Kindness hotel. Thank you.

4 nights stay in Kaohsiung
Hotel staffs service is good. Free high tea and ice cream. Free supper. Free DIY laundry. Room is neat and spacious. location is within 10 min walk to the bus and train stations. I have a great stay there.

Value for money. A1 service and staffs, hotel cleanliness and presentation. We'd gone to the wrong kindness hotel and under the heat, we walked another 10-12 there. The minute we walked in, we knew we had picked a winner. Area very central and closed to Liouhe night market , lots of eateries and 5 minutes walk to kaoshiung main train station. Everything is tops with not a thing to complain about. Room was on the 18th floor, night buffet scored high on my list as it's practically dinner. Morning buffet has a bit of western with basic cereal, toast and egg and Taiwan authentic food quite a spread, tan tzai noodle and tea eggs are very good night snack, congee, soup, cakes, ice cream. The hotel is a teaching hotel where they train ppl. We had asked the front counter to mail out postcards and both checkin and out were fast and efficient. Definitely must return.

The location of the hotel is between Formosa MRT Station and Kaohsiung Train/MRT Station. Quite convenient for taking public transport. Very close to the famous night market. The staff are very polite. Good Wifi. The free breakfast and late night dinner buffet are suprisingly good. The free self laundry service is a bonus. Will recommend to friends and relatives who are visiting Kaohsiung.

Quiet,modern, spacious hotel with very friendly staff.
The hotel staff without exception made our stay here. They are all so smiley,friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very stylish and the room very quiet with the night market in a street about 10 mins walk away as are the 2 metro stations - R10 and R 11. The HSR station at Zuoying is a few stops away at R16.

Great Hotel. The best one of all in this brand.
Nice big room. Friendly happy staff. House keeping did a good job. Love the free washer/dryer use including free detergent. Wash/dry your clothes while having a coffee/tea in the coffee shop right by the laundromat. Short walk to the night market. Lots of free underground parking if you need that. Nice free breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor. Very big lounge on the first floor to sit and have a meeting or greet friends. Elevators are fast. Good experience with minor complaint.
Very happy with this hotel regarding location, staff courtesy, food, room cleanliness and conditions except towels look a little dingy and you hear water running inside the wall right outside the bathroom. Overall a pleasant stay.

Hotel staff were very polite and attentive. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner mean you could eat all day in the hotel. Free bicycles are available for hotel guests. Room was spacious and clean. The only things are that the towels were a bit old and there was no safe in the room. We happened to stay at the same time with a large group of high school students who turned the hotel cafe into a school canteen. Not sure if it is a popular place for holding school offsite functions.

A different in taste & experience than before
Compared to previous 2 stays in the last 5 years, this time round noticed changes from good to average, good staff whom always ready to welcome guests & readily provide great advice on places of interests to visit already left the organization beside first floor game room & free ice cream corner were removed. The man at the entrance was not as helpful & welcoming as before including bad experience with an out of order air-con remote control set & noising fridge in the hotel room. Do hope the hotel management able to bring back the quality service & good old ambient including each individual to shine.

Great hotel at reasonable price
Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, spacious room and comfortable bed. They have free snacks during supper time. Toiletries are also of good quality. We have been to Kaohsiung 3 times and this is the best hotel we've ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

I would strongly recommended any Kindness hotels!
I've stayed at two different Kindness hotels, both have the same quality services. Very clean, staffs are very helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffets is excellent! You had choices of Chinese foods or Western breakfast. If I visit Taiwan again, I will definitely stay again!
