Great central small hotel in Kanazawa

We chose this hotel because of its location as it’s very close to the Garden and castle. It also had a nice patio and music bar, with DJ playing great music. The staff were fantastic with Rachel providing us with a wealth of very good information about what to visit. When we had a problem with our train tickets the staff were very helpful in finding out the best way to fix the problem. We had a great stay and really appreciated the staff at the hotel.

A terrific experience through and through. Excellent, walkable location, close to the castle, Nagamachi, and Kenrokuen in additional to a profundity of shops, cafes and restaurants. The space was new, trendy and very impressively sized, with a clean and modern bathroom. Kanazawa listening bar was of course a treat to have in the lobby for any audiophile and in many ways made my stay. The staff were polite and attentive. Rachel was immensely knowledgeable, professional, and pre-emptively saved my intended trip to Shirakawa-Go from its impending doom. When I am in Kanazawa next, this will be my go-to hotel.

Stay in the middle of walking street

The hotel is right in the middle of the walking street and so close to the night clubs and restaurants. The car can drive into the walking street after 1930, so you can't stop the car in front of the lobby before that. There are lots of parking lots nearby, hotel can provide a better price for some of them, better ask. The hotel is in small scale, but all is enough with good service. The staff are helpful.

We loved our stay here! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and the hotel was beautiful! We got one of the corner rooms, and we highly recommend it. On our first night, there was a huge thunderstorm, and we enjoyed sitting next to the corner window with snacks and drinks while we watched the storm. If we ever make it back to Kanazawa, we will definitely stay here again!!

The perfect boutique hotel in Kanazawa

Kaname Inn is a really special place and I highly recommend it for all looking to stay in the perfect location in our favorite city in Japan, Kanazawa, in a fabulous boutique hotel with amazing customer service. Our room was gorgeous overlooking the city. It is right next to the museums and gardens and all the restaurants and izakayas you want to try out. The staff were incredibly helpful, going well above and beyond to help me call hotels in our next *four* (!!) destinations to confirm details. And on top of all that it has one of the coolest bars in the entire city in their lobby, with fabulous cocktails, a dj playing great records, and an incredible soundsystem. I can't recommend it enough!

The hotel though is small but it is very clean and convenient, only a minute walk to the misj street which has access to the buses. It is located in a small street but there are a row of boutiques and cafes so it is really pleasant to walk around. The room though is not big but it is a good size for Japan standard. The toilet is also has a good size. However, the rooms that we got have no TV. If you are the type that must watch TV e eryday, make sure that you let the hotel know. As the hotel is very now, probably just a few months old, it is very clean. However, we do encounter air conditioning problem which has disturbed us the whole night. Other than that, I think it is a good hotel with friendly and helpful stuff. Most of them speak good English.

Gute Lage des Hotels, um vieles in Kanazawa zu Fuss zu besichtigen. Grosse Auswahl an Shopping-Möglichkeiten. Das Hotel verfügt über gut ausgestattete Zimmer, die angemessen gross sind. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist für mich das Angebot Eco Plus. Ein einmaliger 300 Yen Discount in der Bar ist für mich ein Zeichen, dass die Nachhaltigkeit vom Gast bezahlt wird und nicht wirklich ein Anliegen des Hotels ist.

ツインのお部屋を予約しました。昼間はお店がならぶエリアなので賑わっていますが夜は静かで車も通らないエリアなのでとても静かで快適でした。1階のミュージックバーも雰囲気が良く宿泊者は割引があったり良かったです。スタッフの方も親切でした。スタッフの方も国際豊かだったので、海外から来る旅行者の方も心配ないと感じました

入り口から綺麗で部屋もシンプルかつ綺麗でとても良かったです。エコプランの実施など、環境への配慮も見られました。説明も分かり易かったです。1階のバーは夜ミュージックバーになって良い音楽をかけてくれ、いるだけで充分楽しめました。また利用したいです。
