16 Jan 2020Kanazawa is beautiful - a mini Kyoto is how we would describe it. We particularly loved the old geisha and samurai districts and enjoyed the ninja temple. It’s a smaller city, so easy to walk everywhere.

27 Dec 2019Day trip to Takayama well worth doing. 2 hours each way on bus. Suzuki museum beautiful and very calming. Get the loop bus pass - makes it easier to get around and saves your feet for walking at the different locations.
