An amazing location, the apartment was spacious with good facilities but some more crockery and a broom would have been nice to have been able to clean during the stay. We had booked breakfast but the hotel restaurant was closed and we had to eat at a sister hotel 3 miles every day. We had an amazing stay, the staff were friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Tyckte hotellet var jättebra för den summa jag gav.Trevlig personal,städningen perfekt. Frukosten kunde varit bättre. Läget inte jättebra man ville inte gärna gå mycket trafik fanns dock transport till Kamala Beach 4 gånger om dagen

I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel, its more serviced apartments. The room was quite spacious but not cleaned that well, they kept leaving the dirty cups and plates in the room. The breakfast was at best basic, the ONLY redeeming quality about it was the pancakes which were nice - if they had any. The swimming pool looked dirty, the only sunbeds round it are broken and the whole area looks unkempt and just really uninviting. The 'hotel' is on top of a hill and it is about 10 - 15 min walk into town, some of it along a very dark and dangerous road, certainly not suitable for young children or elderly as its quite a steep trek. The staff are friendly enough but all in all this certainly not a 4 star hotel.

Go to the beach instead.

The bed, the shower and the air conditioner are all good, and the pool and onzen pools are lovely. However, there is no one to help you with your bags, nowhere to easily get anything to eat out of hours unless you want to walk in the dark to the Family Mart or seven eleven, and the breakfast is truly terrible. On our first morning at breakfast , I put a glass cereal lid on the bench to serve cereal and after a minute, it toppled off. It didn't break immediately, then it shattered. The staff were quite rude to us about this - even though I didn't drop it I apologised and my partner cleaned it up. Then I was asked to pay 500 BAHT for the lid, which I stupidly paid on the spot. At around $20 AUD, that was a bit steep. We complained at reception but there was no outcome. It was so awful we did not return for breakfast at all. Also, cleaners took soap and shower gel and they were never replenished, despite me asking specifically. On the last day we realised my partner's watch was missing from the room. Although we should have put this in the safe, the loss of it was devastating as it was a gift, and of course there will never be any resolution to this. The girls at the desk are nice, but I would not recommend this resort on the whole. The cleaning ( cloths left in the room , cups not washed and chipped), and lack of service really let this place down. We wished we'd stayed closer to the beach.

I booked the duplex suite and when i arrived i found wanter leakage in the bathroom and i asked the stuff the fix it they said it will take minimum a day so they will move me to another suite. When they moved me I found out that they are moving me to a smaller suite which is way less and with no view . I asked them to return back my money and I’ll leave they refused and they were very rudeeeee and unprofessional.I totally not recommending anyone to stay iver there Also the pictures on expedia is way different than the reality

Good quality hotel

I’ve stayed in Kamala numerous times during seasons. This year i was travelling with my son during school holidays to Asia. Love coming back here nice peaceful & relaxing. People are always warm friendly & a nice community feel . The hotel Kamala resort spa ticked all the boxes clean staff well organised. Definitely be bk next year

Disappointing Stay

We stayed for 8 nights as a family of 5. It was a disappointing stay. The website made it sound like it is a resort type hotel and that is what sold us on this hotel. Upon checking in we found out that these are condominiums that are rented out. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite which is clean but very old. The beds are so hard like cement. We had to ask for a mattress cushion for the second bed as that one was worse. That didn’t help. There is a kitchenette however all the cupboards are emptied. You have to call front desk to request for any utensils. Cooking on the stove is not allowed at all unless you have a long term stay over 30 days. That is not stated anywhere and the website list a kitchenette so we assume we can use it. We only found out because we asked to borrow a pot to warm up some soup we had bought. The shower was the worse. It doesn’t have a door so the bathroom floor is flooded after a shower. There are 5 of us so you can imagine how wet the floor can get. We used up all the towels everyday to soak up the water. Not sure why they did not install a shower door. There are stores and restaurants nearby however the hotel is on a main road and there are a lot of traffic. There are no sidewalks so you have to be very careful walking down the streets to the stores.There is a shuttle to the beach every two hours. We had an issue one day where the shuttle did not pick us up on the designated time so we had to take a taxi back. The pool is very old.

Fint hotell rent og pent. Veldigt god service og hyggelie annsatte, eneste minus var at varm/kaldt vanns kranen var ødelagt i dusjen så måtte dusje i veldigt varmt vann. Svømmebasenget var litt lite og ikke så mye tilgang til sola pga bygningene rundt. Men ellers så var bassengområdet rent og pent, ble sopt flere ganger dagligt for blader fra trærne

I request a taxi and the staff ignored my request. I had to call a taxi myself. What a horrible staff experience. I don't care how nice this hotel is if the staff are bad, then I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a friend.

失望酒店

凌晨入住不能解答早餐是否包含在訂房中。酒店門鎖壞難上鎖,冷氣唔凍。第二晚10時回到酒店其中一房間冷氣滴水地面積水,通知服務台1小時後有維修人員到維修到12點。太差了。

Nice clean rooms, comfortable bed. Good friendly staff. Can do better by sound proofing the rooms to avoid disturbance from road traffic. It will also be better to have restaurant on premise.
