"Perfect for us. We loved walking the grounds, picking fresh fruit for breakfast on the deck facing the ocean, and the private hot tub. Comfy beds and solid kitchen plus lots of beach stuff to borrow. Nicely quiet at night (if you don't mind nature noises). Really nice touch to have a full welcome fruit bowl to enjoy during out stay."

"The view was great, enjoyed seeing the ocean and all of the wildlife around the resort. The balcony was kinda small, but two of us could sit and enjoy. The distances between the various places was extreme. We had to take the tram, which meant a lot of waiting, but at least they had a tram. The distance to drag your luggage was difficult, to say the least. The staff were all friendly, the lagoon was fun and the food was good. The feeling was over the top as far as how grand it looked. The guests all seemed happy and enjoying."

"An amazing location and in my mind the most beautiful hotel in the world. Been going there since the 70s.
The staff and food isnt quite up to what ths hotel deserves, but still good, i understand the limited pool of workers to draw from. But just outstanding!!"

"Greg was easy to work with, he communicated well with us, and made this just an easy, comfortable, and very pleasant stay for our family visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday. There was adequate space and stocked with the essentials needed. Great property and very well-managed."

"Me and my fiancé stayed for 3 nights and this was an amazing place. The view, we were waking up to, was truly magical. There's everything you might need, from refrigerator and cooktop through shower with hot water. Kim is a very attentive and hospitable host. We had no problems whatsoever. I would highly recommend this place to everybody who is looking for some solitude or juat trying to discover less touristy north and north east part of Big Island."
