"basically a grimy old motel with lipstick on it. loud, dirty and ridiculously over-priced with poor service. if you were there on a warm day, maybe the pool experience would be worth it for kids, but just to spend a nice evening in Flagstaff, this is an over-priced choice that will disappoint if you expect it to be like the pics and more than just a run down old motor lodge with a couple bells and whistles added in the common areas"

"We were so pleased to find such a unique historic place to stay. We had to find a place to stay at the last minute and I am always drawn to the unique vs a chain hotel. The renovations are stunning, especially the library and ballroom. Breakfast was wonderful more plentiful than the description given. The room was clean. Staff was friendly and full of historical information. Loved our stay!"

"Did not eat breakfast there. Went to Spencer’s Pub and had a good time…..highly recommend that the lights get lowered the bar is beautiful and the rest is bright lights. The property did not contain the advertised pool and jacuzzi. They are closed for renovation. Expedia and the hotel did showed them as opened. That was dissapointing as my husband has rotater cuff issues."
