"This was a very clean and safe property with a staffed security gate. We aren’t overly familiar with Mérida so can’t really speak to the neighbourhood but we were happy to see that there were shops and eating establishments well within walking distance. When we arrived we were a bit surprised to find out that it was a two level property with the bedroom located upstairs. The pool was welcome, it wasn’t filled when we got there but Ricardo told us how to fill it. It didn’t take long and we enjoyed the use of it. "

"The hotel is a bit older, but was very nice as I was able to get a top floor and did not have loud neighbors with barking dogs. At night there is minimal road noise and no loud clubs playing music until 3 am. The room was very clean and had no bugs. AC and heat functioned well. The staff were very helpful and let me store items until time to check in. The area around the hotel is a bit boring but can easily be accessed by taxi to travel to other places. Parking is minimal. There are convenience stores closeby. The pool has a nice small pool area which I liked. I had a very good time while I was here."

"Great hotel just across from the Mayan Museum. A great restaurant (Habaneros) just out the door as well as large supermarket, upscale mall, and smaller tiendas for beer and groceries. Very safe area. Hotel was very nice, friendly staff, great breakfast, clean, modern rooms."
