The hotel is a bit old, but that will not count when the staff are so helpful and so warm. Rooms are cleaned everyday with new towels provided everyday as well. Our room has a kitchen and for $3 euros a day it is well worth it if you want to save some money and just cook your own food. There are two grocery next street going left as well. One of them is a regular grocery the other is for a healthier choice, so it is up to you where to go. Their are also a lot of restaurants around the area. Bear in mond the they close early around 8PM and also almost all establishments in Vienna or most of Europe are close on Sundays except restaurants.
The hotel is close to the underground subway station Rathaus. It is also thearea where the airport bus (3rd stop) can drop you off from the airport. At the airport take bus number 7 for 13.50 euros roundtrip. Airport. Us comes every 30mins to the minute from 6AM. To go to the hotel from Rathaus, you have to go left from the subway station towards the next street with the clock on the corner and then turn right the hotel is about 2 blocks in. Also if you wanted to walk towards the opera house you. can do so in about 10 minutes from the hotel depending how fast you walk, just turn left at the hotel entrAnce then right when you reach the parliament and just follow the road ahead until you reach the opera house. Ypu can take a detour into Hofburg palace as well. So the hotel is very convenient From the city center, but most of all staff are great.

We stayed in the larger apartment, which was very spacious and bright with lovely windows overlooking the street below. This was a great choice for parents with a young baby (you do get a bit of traffic noise despite the double glazing). The hotel provided travel cot, changing facility and high chair. We really enjoyed our stay and made the most of the onsite parking and central location. The apartment is near many amenities (shops and supermarkets) and a short walk to nearby sights in Vienna. The apartment is in need of updating but was comfortable and good value. The apartment could benefit from cable TV.

I chose this hotel, along with several colleagues, for a 5 night stay during a conference we were attending. I had a very nice room--double bed, bar fridge, large deck overlooking a nice garden. My colleagues, however, had rooms that were not much bigger than closets with bathrooms that you could barely turn around in. I did pay more for my room, of course. But none of us had air conditioning which was a serious problem given the 30C+ heat of July. A couple of us were provided with fans, which helped, but it was still uncomfortable for sleeping. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were very nice. I would opt to stay at this hotel again, except for the height of summer.
