"We had booked it for 25 people, a family reunion. We had brought a few extra air mattresses and the owner was kind to order 3 extra air matresses for us. We were impressed with the house that it was able to accomdate this many people. The kids were busy playing outside and taking canoe rides, older folks cooking in the kitchen and others playing games in the basement. The sheets were clean, kitchen had supplies, but we also brought some supplies as well specific for our cooking needs. Overall...

"We really enjoyed our stay and girls getaway at the Bickle cottage. The Bickle sisters were extremely responsive before, during and after our visit. the cottage is very nicely decorated, clean, cozy and charming. The new boathouse is gorgeous. As we were there Sept mid week it was quiet.The kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms comfortable. Thank you Bickle Sisters! "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a group of six, and there was more than enough space for all of us. This rental is well equipped with everything you need. The deck was beautiful, and the campfire pit was so peaceful. We had a fire after dark and sat in the Muskoka chairs with a beautiful view of the water. I highly recommend this rental, we would stay here again for sure!"

"Right away we noticed the cleanliness was on point. The second thing we noticed was the how baby friendly it was. We were very happy to see there was a playpen, a crib, a baby gate and a high chair provided which we’re all useful. The pull out couch was cozy. The seating space was perfect and the kitchen was great so all the ladies were able to help cook together. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would book again!"

"The cottage was very nice and fully stocked. It was perfect with young kids. The outside lawn between the 2 large maples is where we spent so much of our time playing games and running around. "There are quite a few things to be aware of with this property. 1. Dock boards are loose and when you walk they move. A few of the kids lost several layers of skin from stubbing their toes when fishing. 2. Cleanliness was around a 5/10 3. No window coverings to keep the room dark in the morning so everyone was up at 6:30 4. Fishing rods were completely a mess and I took 4 hours to clean them up for use. 5. "Beautiful property, but the pictures posted.must have been older photos of the home LOTS of maintenance and upkeep needed, not to mention countertops and all furniture surfaces, stove top, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans were dirty and needed to be washed upon arrival. Linens provided were not freshly laundered. Stayed at many rentals through Vrbo and never encountered this. Owner offered nothing but apologies. SO embarrassing as this was the place chosen to host with our closest friends...
