Hotel Suraj A 500 Year Old Haveli

Inside The Only Living Fort of India there are lot of old and ancestral houses. Named after the real owner, Shri Suraj Karanji Vyas, who was Teacher of the Maharaja at that time and also his Legal Advisor. Build in 1526 A.D. it belongs to us since then. We are the 17th Generation of Suraj Karanji Vyas living in "Suraj Haveli". As we are more focused on maintaining the originality of our ancestral property we have tried to maintain the main structure of the building and changes are made only on the places where it was necessary.

Our family lives on the ground floor of "Suraj Haveli". There are 4 rooms on upper floors which take you back in history giving a feel of being wedged in time. Running Our "Suraj Haveli" as a Home stay facility for last 30 years, we have given a very good experience to our customers which is mostly liked by the new guests. It`s our promise that during your stay in "Suraj Haveli", you can get a pure feel of staying at your second home.
