Overall a good option, great location in the old town buzzing area, walkabledistancefrom a lot of great shopping, dining and landmarks. The hotel is clean and the staff is pleasant. I didn't get a chance to check the amenities so I can't speak for those.

I did not like you cannot have food in your room. I’m sure this is to make them more money. Their food for dinner is bunch of fried American things. Once you step in hotel feel gouged. Breakfast 25 euros. It is great. Coke in minibar 8.50 USA. Staff was nice but this hotel is for business travelers who want their Hilton rewards points. The hotel does not have a driveway. It’s hard to get into hotel. The streets around hotel are tore up. I arrived to a place a did not know how to get into hotel. Hotel is noisy for street construction I think that area. Would be noisy if there were no street construction.

We always use Hilton’s when travelling it’s a brand that we trust unfortunately on this occasion both Hilton and Expedia have let us down .
Firstly let’s focus on the positives , the hotel is just opposite the tram stop unfortunately not the best end of town to stay with surrounding restaurants “ I use this term very sparingly are terrible “ and if you fancy drink in or around this area a apart from the hotel which charges €10 for a 33cl bottle of beer your stuck .
The area that the hotel is in is undergoing massive construction works laying new pavements and this work take place overnight outside the hotel on the first evening all night we had diggers and pneumatic drills ..as you can imagine we didn’t sleep !
The next day this was pointed out to the reception whom abruptly pointed out this noise has nothing to do with them after much debate they agreed to move the room to the back of the hotel thus reducing any noise .
My point is we lost 1 days holiday as we became so tired with this noise the hotel should show compassion and offer compensation .
My gripe lies with both Expedia and Hilton whom should have informed us of these works as not only the noise but when you left the hotel my wife who has an issue with her hip found it exceptionally challenging getting up the make shift steps into the hotel .
If your thinking of booking this hotel please think long and hard as it’s not in the best area and really does need some TLC as the rooms are looking very dated ..

I think Hilton Hotels have the most comfortable beds! The room was quiet and the perfect temperature and we slept very well. Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Only minor issue was being woken by the cleaning staff at 9am when we were having a lie-in. I would have liked the option to reuse our towels to minimise our environmental impact.

We had two rooms for my family during this trip. One of the room we checked and had very bad smell and next day when I reported they changed the room and in the new room next day at night we could not open the door and it took them almost an hour to fix it. Well it was a tragedy to stay there. The staff are only good at helping there own national people. Other nationals they are rude to them very aggressive and not helpful. My bedroom for 3 days was not cleaned we asked them to clean it after the first day and it was not cleaned
