We booked the two bedroom option which in fact were two internally joined rooms. They were spacious and clean. Room service was good and daily. The aoartments were across the the small road opposite the hotel. A typical Turkish breakfast with plenty of choice. All the staff were very helpful and polite. As for location it us only 60 yards to the start of restaurants and shops. Even better on 3-400 yards from the blue and Sophia Mosques.

I had an amazing stay at Ferman Hotel Istanbul. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The location is perfect, with stunning views of both the sea and the iconic mosque. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. Our family with kids had a wonderful stay at Ferman Hotel. We loved the rooftop restaurant with exquisite 360 views of the city & daily breakfast buffet. Our room also had a nice water view. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. The hotel was walking distance to many landmarks including Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, etc. Also walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Even though our room had an old-fashioned feel, it was very clean and overall matched the “old city” feel. The staff were helpful in arranging airport transport & accessible to answer questions & provide support via WhatsApp. We would recommend & stay here again!

The staff was very very cordial. The location was just a three to five minute walk to the blue mosques and Hagia Sophia. The view from the rooftop breakfast area was the best view , and that was the reason we chose this hotel . Breakfast was good with a variety of food. There was money exchange a lane away and restaurants as well. We shopped from The Tree of life shop that’s just there with good quality ceramics and excellent people working there as it’s a family owned business . ( I would recommend that shop) Overall our experience at Ferman hotel old city was pretty good and if we go again we will consider it again. The furniture and rug can be upgraded but that to us was not very significant for this trip but If the owners pay attention to it then it would be excellent. The view from our room was of the sea lovely indeed but the view Straight down was of a bunch of rooftops and some shabby looking. ( if that matters to anyone) Nuri and Omer at the front desk were very respectful and helpful. Kept out bags for the day after the check in also till our flight time later in the afternoon. Transportation was also provided with reasonable rates upon request.

Nous avons passé 3 jours formidables au Ferman Hotel. Rien à dire : le petit-déjeuner était parfait, le lit très confortable, et l’ambiance vraiment familiale. La terrasse est magnifique, avec une vue splendide sur la mer et sur le côté asiatique d’Istanbul. Un grand merci à Selçuk, Latif et Mehmet Bey ainsi qu’aux bagagistes et à la femme de ménage pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Very pleasant experience to the hotel. Staff very attentive, hotel very clean including the room, delicious breakfast with various choices on the menu and the location was fantastic: rooftop terrace with view on the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and on the other side with the Bosphorus. The hotel is a walking distance to main historical attractions like The Topkapi Palace, The Basilica Citern, the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia in Plaza Sultanahmet. It is located in the historical area with quick access to public transportation, restos, and souvenir shopping. Uber works also very well. A little bazaar nearby and the Grand Bazaar is a 15 minutes walk. Thanks again Ferman Old City Hotel. If to return we’ll certainly stay here again.

The hotel was amazing clean and the rooms are very spacious. The service was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing with the view of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The WiFi service can be better which was the only issue. Overall a great hotel to stay.

Die Unterkunft liegt nur wenige Gehminuten zu Fuß von der blauen Moschee und Hagia Sophia. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist dadurch super! Die Zimmer selbst sind klein, aber gemütlich. Wir waren bereits mehrmals hier und kommen gerne immer wieder. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen & der Ausblick dabei ist super. Ich kann das Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
