"We needed a cabin by the river to decompress from a busy tourist season (we are locals) and this was just far enough away, and just enough river and woods. Enough space to have the family over for a cookout, and a cozy screened in porch for coffee and dessert with them afterwards. The bench by the river is the best place for morning coffee."

"My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is very close to the Iron Fish Distillery and only a few minutes from Crystal Mountain Resort. The cabin was very cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We ended up bringing our own charcoal and grilling some steaks for our final night. We are already discussing booking again for ski season. 10/10, thank you!"

"This was a Beautiful home on a gorgeous piece of property!! It was very clean and well maintained ! Had everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing week-end! The kids stayed busy and the adults had plenty to do too! Lots to see and do!! Thank you for a great place to go as a large family!!"

"Great piece of property. We loved the fire pit area which was nicely covered from the light rain by the trees.There was no air conditioning but the house exhaust/fan system really pulled a nice breeze!Large house with enough rooms/bedding for everyone and some. Everyone slept well and the beds were comfy!Nice little spot for kids to play too!"

"This was the BEST place!! The pictures don’t do it justice for how nice, big, welcoming and cozy the cabin is! My family and I the whole time we were there kept saying “my gosh this place is so beautiful”. The kitchen was so well stocked with really nice pans and storage for food that you make! The main floor was perfect for hanging out. The whole porch area was our absolute favorite and they have the nicest rockers! Many extra towels and linens. We enjoyed every minute of being here! We travelled with a 1 year old and 3 year old and they had the time of their life!! The upstairs family room was perfect because it had rockers and enough room for a pack n play and air mattress plus the couch. It’s soo much bigger inside than you would think. The river is beautiful, pretty steep to get there - the stairs don’t go down all the way fyi, but was great for exploring and spending time down there. Great section of the river, we had a fun time in it. Also super convenient location for all the attractions too! We had the best week for our annual whole family vacation!! It was nice to come back to some seclusion after going out to town and just relax! We would definitely stay here again! We will cherish all the memories and pictures!"

"Overall, a nice property nestled in the woods near Crystal Mountain. Seemed to have all the ammenities we needed. My only recommendations would be to add a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and get the water checked as it has a sulfur smell to it."
