"There was a miscommunication with the cleaning crew but it was resolved quickly as well as the AC unit (due to extreme heat in many states) The owners were attentive to our needs and did everything to make our family gathering comfortable and memorable. Much appreciated was the fans in all the rooms and use of two kitchens. Thank you again, we would definitely recommend Ed’s place ."

"The property was very clean, conveniently located near all the attractions, and comfortably accommodated six adults. A few small additions that would make the stay even better include foil and cling wrap in the kitchen, updated floor mats in the main bathroom, and more comfortable pillows. Overall, a wonderful stay!"

"Me and my husband throughly enjoyed are stay. The front desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly which is very refreshing. We have stayed at many places were that was not the case. The rec center was lovely, nice little kitchen. When we weren’t out and about it was nice to go to the rec center and play pool and air hockey! Very satisfied with are stay!"

"Very clean with plenty of beds. It is a great location, quiet and secluded yet not too far away from other activities. 20 minutes to Arcadia beach. 5 minutes to Iron Fish distillery which was awesome. Bring mosquito spray, they are heavy. Also Brring some boots if planning to access the river from the property. The stairs go halfway down to the river and then it is very muddy after that especially the last 10 feet near the river bank. Not sure if it is like that all the time or just weather related. Much easier river access down the road at the bridge."

"The property was peaceful and beautiful. It was rustic but the owners had provided quite a few up to date amenities. There was a keurig, extra bathroom supplies, phone chargers (this was greatly appreciated!!). Comfy beds and the water pressure was amazing!"

Remodeled Betsie River Bungalow 3bd+2ba+Loft by Crystal Mtn, 10 acres on River!

"We’re from Oklahoma and rented the Bestsie River Bungalow with family friends, and it comfortably fit two families of 4. The house was the perfect getaway, and it was centrally located around all the things we wanted to do in Michigan. The house was well stocked (with very nice pots and pans), and the host had household items many places don’t(wine opener, chip bag clips, peeler, pizza cutter)! They even had s’more’s sticks which was a huge hit with the kids. They have two fire pits, which I thought was nice, for people who may not be able to make the walk down to the river. The one by the house is close to the neighbors, so we used the one by the water. The host was great at communication, and even gave his cell phone number if any problems were to come up. We had a small hiccup with the AC and the fixed it the same day, which was impressive and appreciated. If you’re looking for a family friendly home, this place is it. We went to Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, kayaked the Platte River, Mackinac Island, and even ventured to Torch Lake. Thank you for opening up your home to us."

"Truly a beautiful and well appointed home. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings with a glass a wine, and being able to have breakfast there with the family in the morning. I highly recommend the hosts, Jason and Betsy. We will definitely stay again for our next family reunion."
