"I loved everything about the Ibis hotel. Everyone was very friendly. It was very clean, quiet and in a great area, safe, closed to shops, restaurants and walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was so good with plenty of things to eat like different pastries, bread, cheeses, hot selection, and brazilian desserts. Lunch at the restaurant was very good as well. I am definitely staying at this hotel again."

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights. We had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, with modern and tasteful decor. Rooftop bar has a swimming pool and stunning views. On our second night, the aircon broke and started to leak and we got moved/upgraded immediately to a room with some sea views. Breakfast is included and is ok. Fantastic location, a few metres from Copacabana beach. Lucas from reception was awesome, he gets a 11 out of 10 from us. He was super helpful, proactive and went...

The hotel is clean, the room was spacious and everything operated. It's location close to Copacabana Beach and shopping facilities made it ideal from a visitors viewpoint. The metro was less than 10 minutes walk away while frequent bus services passed the door. The breakfast was ample although lacked variety. The room was cleaned and towels replaced daily. My only criticism would be the desk staff who although polite enough could have been more forthcoming with tourist recommendations. Overall...

From the moment you walk in, everything was well arranged. Staff is friendly, hotel has gorgeous art and has a sense of serenity in a bustling city like Rio. It’s worth its 5 stars and awards! The buildings in Santa Teresa are lovely and there are quite a few restaurants in walking distance also close to the Steps. Overall I felt safe in this neighbourhood and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!
