This hotel was everything we dreamed of and more. It was the perfect location in Buzios and the views were exactly how the seem in the photos. All of the staff were amazing - Marcel gave us a hotel tour when we arrived and was so enthusiastic about his hotel and made sure we felt at home. The room was divine and the bed was so comfortable. Hotel is great. Lovely pools. Beach across the road from hotel is lovely. But it’s a 1 hour taxi from Copacabana beach. There is nothing else near the hotel. All hotels / apartments have gated entry.

From the moment you walk in, everything was well arranged. Staff is friendly, hotel has gorgeous art and has a sense of serenity in a bustling city like Rio. It’s worth its 5 stars and awards!
The buildings in Santa Teresa are lovely and there are quite a few restaurants in walking distance also close to the Steps.
Overall I felt safe in this neighbourhood and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

It is as amazing staying at Ibis, location is safe . Across is the shopping center. Transport easy - Uber abd taxi availble . Breakfast has a wide variety. Room is clean, bed very comfortable!!
