"This is our second time staying at this hotel. This time is a beginning of summer. We all love it except the AC. It is centralized but you can’t lower it or control the room temperature. Nonetheless, the location of this property is excellent and the staff were very welcoming and very nice. The breakfast buffet is amazing.The family room was big enough for 4 of us. The pillows are so soft and flat :( You would need to ask for extra pillows which they are willing to give us that so our stay was more comfortable! "

"+ Great location. Extremely quiet with windows closed. Friendly receptionist. Allowed us to store luggage in a locked room before check-in. – Room was a bit hot in June, and the hostel did not provide desk fans. Flies were present at the buffet and dining area."

"People and food were great. A/C in room was great. 100 year old facility is beautiful in perfect location. some high quality floor stand fans around common areas would be an efficacious way to lessen Discomfort of high heat days. "

"We had a speedy checkin with welcoming reception staff. The hotel location was ideal for our short stay in Interlaken. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. Although the rooms are not air-conditioned we appreciated the provision of a fan in the room. We're happy to recommend based on our experience. "

"Very nice quiet location it at the same time close to everything. The river view room was much smaller than we expected but excellent view. We even watched people jumping off the bridge. The self laundry facility was an added bonus. But the staff are not quite familiar with buses allowed on the guest card. We were kicked off 106 and told 102-104 are the only valid buses. Something to be verified before j make plans."
