"Getting a little worn. The carpet had big ripples in it and needs to be replaced. Some areas in the bathroom are condensed with dirt and grim, so while it was 'clean' needs a deep, deep cleaning. "

"We chose the Metropole because we found a letter from an ancestor in my husband's family, who were originally from Ireland, touting it's praises. Maybe we stayed in the same room - nice to think about but probably not. Anyway, we had a great time. The location, friendly staff, and comfort all met our expectations. We will return."

"Great service! Front desk was amazing and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but the young Spanish lady knew her stuff and provided answers and information quickly while multi-tasking. Fitness center was downstair with a small pool but still could do decent laps in. Food was good. Breakfast buffet was worth it. Rooms were big enough and comfortable. Would stay here again. "
