We had a lovely stay and definitely will be coming back to visit. There is really only one restaurant so if you are staying a long while it is good to have a place with a kitchen option."

"An absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean. The tide goes out and we walked on the beach with the most amazing clouds and colors. The house was spotless and the host very responsive. The location is way more beautiful and striking than the pics show. If you want a home that is off the beaten path and surrounded by great beauty this is for you. "

"We had the perfect stay at the Old Salt House. Kim had taken care of everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, the shower was fab, the deck gave us stunning views, the pub round the bay was just sublime, and the cottage was always a joy to return to; a cosy neuk after the Portnahaven winds. The info and photos online are dated and because that set expectations, our initial impression was disappointing - which planted a seed of doubt. Thankfully, the TV, mattresses and towels were all fine. Our stay would have also been enhanced by any kind of general info letter.
