Property is older so rooms were small but beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of options and it was nice not to have to leave the hotel. We found good restaurants for dinner in Breakin ( Red Skye) & Bradford (Claymore) a 10-15 min drive away. Kyleakin is a a good hour to the hikes on the Trotternish Peninsula and 30 min to Portree so you need to plan around that travel time.

Our first stop on Skye before travelling up to Staffin. Very comfortable, the room comfortable, if not very large. Nice staff, we were served by a young girl called Lily in the restaurant - what a lovely, smiling face! Thank you!

I would not recommend: we could hear the conversations and the steps from the people in the room upstairs as if a paper sheet divided the two rooms. The bathroom was mouldy, the curtain was ripped, the bedroom we were given was tiny and absolutely depressing. Do not stay here if you have another option…

horrible place

the room had bed bug , the manger lying cause the receptionist said manager called him at 4:30 and he checked the room no bed bug. then the manger claimed he checked the unit st 2:30 there was no bed bug.

Very nice location but it’s hard to sleep because it feels like walls are made of paper and you can hear every breath from the next rooms, other than that it’s actually very good! The breakfast is good as well.

I arrived and had so.e special milk and other dietary foods, as I'm a serious coeliac, and requested a room with a fridge. None of our rooms have fridges, I was told. Can I put my food etc in the staff fridge? No, it's a health hazard. I pleaded but she was emphatic and unhelpful. I have never in all my travels come across such a totally negative attitude, in fact most people are incredibly helpful. However, on a positive note the sunset behind the bridge was spectacular.

A large & very busy hotel with extremely limited on site parking but I did get a spot . All the staff were friendly & polite . Extremely basic small single room but I suspect that the larger rooms are much better . However , it did the job & I slept very well . Location is great with good scenic views .

Location on the water was great! Convenient to everything in the small town. The hotel is in a heritage building and things are older, floors uneven, hallway carpets stained. However, the bedrooms we had were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable and affordable stay.

Convenient position near Skye bridge, property looks over the coast. Our room was at back, ok but bathroom windows were normal see-through glass. Evening meal was ok but expensive. Breakfast quite good, though shift manager was arguing with staff.
