"Breakfast was not simply a buffet, there was an ample menu with lots of options cooked fresh! The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable and having a bathroom in each individual building was key to a pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and would suggest it to anyone!"

"This inn was very warm and inviting. It was just a short walk into town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower could have used some shampoo and conditioner. The food was good, the sticky toffee pudding was delicious. I highly recommend a stay here."

"This cottage felt less like a place to stay and more like a place to breathe again. The tranquility, the astonishing views, the sounds of sheep and horses in the distance, and the endless skies created a kind of stillness that was deeply healing. Sitting with coffee in the early mornings and watching the light move across the hills was pure peace. The cottage itself was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully situated just outside of town — secluded enough to feel restorative, yet central enough to easily explore the area. The views from the bedrooms were breathtaking. The host was incredibly helpful and easy to reach. We did get briefly lost arriving because we relied on GPS rather than the written directions provided, so I strongly recommend following the host’s instructions exactly. Once we did, everything was seamless. A truly unforgettable stay. This place restored something in me."

"The hotel is well located just a few minutes walk into the centre of Portree. The rooms are clean, well furnished and comfortable. We found the restaurant evening menu very limited. By comparison the breakfast menu was good. The absence a butter knife in the place setting was surprising and missed. The bar/ restaurant is poorly designed with guests having to stand at the bar to be served amongst the diners. Overall a nice hotel, well situated with nice rooms."

"Park Cottage is a secluded, cosy and well-appointed retreat outside the main tourist centres. Its central location on the island makes it an ideal base for excursions to anywhere on Skye. The view from there is breathtaking and the cottage was very clean with all modern appliances including a charger for our EV. The communication with the owner was extremely pleasant and we felt very welcome. I cannot recommend it enough. Thanks again to Margaret for a perfect vacation. "
