"Good points: - check in was easy and simple - Airkeeper, the firm managing the property, were responsive and helpful - good location, 2mins walk from cafe and beach access Bad points: - the property was simply filthy. Cockroaches on the kitchen floor, dirty bin, stains on sofa, mould on the blinds, and (worst of all) mould in the dishwasher. This is not the kind of dirtiness that is just a few missed points on the most recent clean, the whole place needs a deep clean and parts (like the blinds) replacing. Previous reviews saying this weren’t shown when I booked this through Expedia, I should have look at Stayz and other reviews. - no toilet paper - the amount of dust and dirt spiked the asthma of my wife and daughter - although I booked through Expedia, it was a real pain having to complete extras forms and payment processes through Airkeeper (the company that manages the property). Although Airkeeper were responsive when I raised the mould issues, they offered to a) send a cleaner round which wasn’t much use when we were there and b) offered a late checkout, which we didn’t take up cos we wanted to get out of the filthy property asap! "

"The property at Broulee was well located, a quick walk to a very beautiful beach. The house contained all amenities required for a restful stay, and was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom shower and floor need a good scrub. The oven tray was dirty, and covered with blackened food scraps, and the crockery required washing before use. The upholstery was marked, the coffee tables covered in glass rings, and some of the curtains and blinds need repair. I did not notice in our initial view of information on the property that we only had access to the top floor and would be sharing the address with others, although this was not an inconvenience at the time. Access was up a very steep flight of stairs, and this may have impacted our decision to stay had we realised when booking. Despite the issues listed above, we had a very relaxing few days, directly opposite a beautiful beach (although the water cannot be seen from the house due to the vegetation wind barrier). "

"Rain on a canvas roof beats tin any day. Due to weather swimming at this pretty beach was a miss but Pool was such a lovely substitute. Staff really helpful & efficient"
