Clean room, clean bathroom, all the amenities expected, free water bottles, room size wasn't too small nor big. "This hotel is very convenient to take trains and buses in front of the station But our room was a smoking room, so it was always a small room with the smell of cigarettes. I asked staffs to change it, but they said there was no room."
"Please note that this from the perspective of a westerner (Canada) — This was a very traditional Japanese resort. The baths and hot tub were great. Breakfast was a set menu and traditional Japanese fare — while it was an interesting experience, it was also very non-traditional for us. Best to have a vehicle when visiting here as town and restaurants are a 2 km walk or a $12-18 taxi ride. The staff were great and we communicated through a translation app, as most spoke no English and our Japanese is no better. This provided a truly immersive Japanese experience. "
