Strand House

2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"An amazing house and a truly warm welcome from Alex and Kerry. We were served a well cooked English breakfast each morning that kept us going to the evening. There was a log fire in the lounge every evening and we had a well presented bedroom with a modern and spacious en-suite. If low ceilings are not your thing then it's probably best to avoid a 15th Century town house for your break. "

White Haven - with 2 double rooms

"Check in was easy and location was good, thise are the only positives. The property is extremely dated and dirty. The furnishings in communal areas were torn, threadbare, stained, dirty and smelly. The carpets were dirty, covered in
dog
and human hair. There was mould above the shower and dirt and mould under the sink. The areas around the toilets were soiled with rusted old urine splashes. There was mould on one of the bedroom walls. The kitchen cupboard fascias were peeling and the handles all...

"Stable Cottage was perfect for our needs; rural location with beautiful view, a wood burner and short drive to stunning beaches for

"The cottage is wonderfully cosy, we especially liked having the wood burner for the winter nights. Having the sea and the nature reserve so close was ideal for walks from the door. Very nice for a weekend getaway with the kids."

The Cot - a holiday let that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Everyone loved the cottage and we all found it very comfortable. We particularly loved the outside space which was good both for eating and relaxing. We did, however, have a small problem with a nail sticking up on the wooden floor of the shower room and it was not easy to contact anyone about it (it was a Bank Holiday!). We couldn't locate any tools despite being told there was a hammer in a cupboard. In the end my son managed to bang it down using a stone. Otherwise everything worked well....
