We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. "We stayed for one night. Our room was renovated and the bed was comfy. The hotel has a sauna and a hot tub whose water is geothermal from the nearby mountain. The beach is in walking distance and the town is a few minutes drive across the bridge. Overall, a nice and relaxing stay!"

"This was an older hotel that was so charming. The staff was very friendly, the scenery was beautiful and I truly loved watching the owner work the horses in the ring with her loyal dog right there. "Wonderful location just 45 minutes from Reykjavic. It is certainly out in the countryside, but it was nice and quiet. 20 mins to a grocery store and the kitchen was equipped enough for our breakfasts we made at home before heading out for the day. Very clean, and the hot tub was great. No issues whatsoever. "
