"The carpet floor in our room needed cleaning. When I had arrived I had explained briefly to the receptionist that I'm here for my mum's funeral the two nights I stayed at this hotel I couldn't sleep well . I then had try to get over my mum's funeral. I needed rest before I start my long journey back home to Suffolk. I Sadly left I hour and thirty minutes later leaving my room by not leaving by 11.am.I went to the reception to explain my situation regarding my bereavement of my loss of my mum. I had no sympathy from the reception when I left and I had to pay a late search charge of £10.00 not happy."

"We have stayed previous and this stay was great. However second time not so much, paid extra for king size bed to be told they only have doubles and receptionist replied “I have never been in any of the rooms so I don’t know what to tell you” didn’t change the room we got a small double. Radiator was broke which made the room to hot to sleep in mentioned to staff who said it was waiting to be repaired. Vending machine jammed and when I asked for help from staff was told there’s nothing the can do so to just accept the loss. As it was a seperate company and they had no key. "

"Stayed one night, wish it had been more! A lovely hotel, fantastic facilities and so much choice for breakfast . Highly recommended."

"A little difficult to find. The car parks are spread out around the building so it was possible to find a space even when the part in front of the hotel was full. The hotel is a little dated but is a perfectly pleasant, and relatively cheap, place to stay."

"this was a sports pub with rooms not a hotel. No breakfast available( which wasn’t made clear on booking) and no heating in bedroom in the morning. Room was fine if uninspiring and good refreshment tray for hot drinks."

"The host cancelled this booking 3 hours before check in claiming issues with electrics and heating. She offered a sub standard property on Anfield Road, as a replacement with no reduction in cost even though the property offered was much cheaper. When we contacted Vrbo they held a three way conversation where the host said she was too busy to speak (even though support is 24/7) and we should email on the Monday after our weekend break was over. We passed the property we had paid for (the one here) and there was someone in there charging their car, so there was clearly no problem with property, she just changed ours for no reason. We did not stay in the second property we were dumped with. If I could give 0 stars I would. To date she has not repaid the money we paid. Issues such as broken back door so no security, no parking permit, garden gate held shut with a stack of chairs, hardly any cutlery, dirty pans some with food still left in to name but a few issues."
