"Booked room for my parents and they were very disappointed with the whole experience. The check-in was delayed for more than 1 hour because the "room is not ready". This is simply unacceptable as they should have arranged alternatives to accommodate. The front desk was not helpful, did not offer any update of when the room would be ready while my parents were waiting. When the room was finally ready after more than an hour of waiting, my parents arrived the room and found it was not even clean...

"Relaxed 24h in March. Lots of families here, but 28 deg c but still quiet at the pool. I as a westerner enjoyed my meals outdoors while it was as typically quite loud inside the restaurant. Both Chinese and western food. The western food was good. Room was huge with a softer than typically Chinese beds, good for me. Nice balcony with a sunbed. Very friendly staff and you could always find someone who spoke English."

"For $50-60 this is just a fine hotel. This is typical Chinese hotel, looks very nice, grounds outside are nice. It's not super updated but it's ok. English is not their strong point. Gym is not good but is good enough to get a work-out. Breakfast also fine but not strong on Western food, although they do have it. This is not a 5 star but if you get upgraded room for $109 it is quite nice. Make sure you request the most non-smoking room if you don't want your room to smell like...

"The WiFi was nonexistent except in the lobby right next to the desk. The hotel was pretty but the location is so out of the way. There is construction going on all around it. These conditions were less than ideal for a foreigner visiting for the first time. I ended up checking out on the same day and finding a hotel in the city. "
