"We booked a Deluxe Room,1 king bed and found the room dark, one of the light bulbs wasn't working and the maintenance person came to fix it promptly but it didn't make much difference in brightness. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is in an excellent position with a metro line just around the corner, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely and had a noodle & egg station,the dining area had plenty of space between tables so it felt quite spacious.The Hotel also changed Australian Dollars into Chinese CNY at a reasonable rate.On the negative side there is no safe in the room but you can ask for a safe to be delivered to your room which to me defeats having your valuables in the safe as any one can walk out with the safe. I would not book this room again but when we returned to Shanghai 6 weeks later we had booked the Executive King Room, though it was more expensive it was much bigger and brighter and I might consider booking that room again."
