"Cute restaurant across from the hotel behind those buildings, tower of Belém close by, monastery walking distances, pastel de Belém also walking distance, excellent location
Been going there for years"
"The pool and garden was fabulous!
The room is clean and bed is good.
The area is so cozy with bus and 25E to get to the city center within 20 minutes.
I would recommend people who requires good sleepy quality!"

"Locke de Santa Joana is a great spot to stay. The staff is friendly. Great decor in the lobby and in the rooms. Nice courtyard with a pool, bar and restaurant. And all in a beautiful historic building. I’ve read some reviews of people complaining about getting to their room from the lobby. We stayed in the furthest wing of the hotel. Sure, there were 2 elevator rides involved and a walk through the courtyard but the whole experience took about 60 seconds. Would definitely stay here again."
"The room and staff were great, location is great though may not be great for anyone with limited mobility as it’s on quite a steep hill and a few steps. Breakfast was great and appreciated the local touches. Would stay again."

10/10 Excellent
"To stay here is to be reminded of what a five-star hotel is intended to be: spacious rooms, soothing ambience, efficient, cheerful service, and an excellent restaurant. Its setting away from the downtown allows for views out of the rooms which feel like you’re in the country. The price of this location is that it takes a little longer to get to some of the main sights of the city, but this is a small price to pay for what you get in return. Highly recommended."
Crowds are drawn to this uniquely Portuguese bakery for its signature egg-custard pastries and flaky sweet treats that were invented by Catholic monks.
