"The property is at an excellent location to access Carlsbad State Beach. The ocean view is spectacular if you pick that type of room. The room is very large ,and it has a very large patio. Less than 2 miles away, there are many restaurants available. I will go back with family to stay a longer time. There's also a decent free breakfast included daily, pool and great gym. Great for families."

"Our room had a balcony with a beautiful beach view. Breakfast was included and offered mostly the basics, but everything was fresh, so really no complaints there. The view while eating breakfast made it even better. The only downside was the parking, but that’s pretty typical for California, especially near the beach. Parking on the property is $44 per night, though street parking is free. Plus, if you’re heading to the beach, you get VIP parking right at the front of the street. We really loved our stay and will definitely be coming back."

"The room was clean. There was just a lot of little flaws that I didn’t expect in the room that was decently pricey. Such as the light cover was missing for the entryway light. The light over the sink was dead, the sink in the bathroom dripped. The fridge was cold, but there was a giant ice block taking up all of the freezer. Good thing I didn’t bring my hot pockets. Lol When I checked in at about 8 PM the n the lady running the counter was absolutely fantastic and sweet. When I was getting breakfast in the morning, I was pleasantly surprised that they had waffle makers to make your waffles. The instructions on that could’ve been a little bit clear, but the staff was there to help be grudgingly, but it all worked out. Gave me a decent place to lay my head for the night."

"This was a great stay for us. Super clean, simple rooms with a lovely staff and great location. Able to walk to some great restaurants and coffee. It was surprisingly quiet for being right on the main road. Will definitely stay here again "
