"Spent one night while visiting family. Relaxed in the pool and hot tub. Easy access to beach down some steps. Able to borrow beach toys and chairs from the hotel kiosk at the bottom of the stairs. Great visit."
"my granddaughter arrived at 8:30 Friday night and parking is a bit of a challenge. The gentleman at the front desk took a look at the two of us and said “you can have my parking space” It was right in front of the building. I never moved my car the rest of the week and did not miss it at all. everything i needed was within walking distance.
the staff is so helpful and politeTo say that my granddaughter and I had a fabulous time would be in an understatement.
stay here you won’t regret it. Plus, you’ll probably book for next year too. They go fast."
"awesome property right on the beach. Pool located on the deck above the beach hit it as well. Guest can enjoy the fire pits along the pool. plenty of amenities to enjoy such as complementary breakfast every morning or your option to have breakfast in bed. The staff was always a text away and ready to help at any time. We also enjoyed writing the complementary bikes as we rode through Carlsbad Village. Which is walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed your stay we’ll be telling friends and family about the property."
"A friend and I went to Oceanside for a concert at the new Frontwave Arena and didn’t want to drive back to Orange County after the show so we booked a room at the Oceanside Inn and Suites. We just wanted a clean and affordable place to stay where we didn’t need a car since we opted to take the train. The previous reviews were mixed with some saying to run away from this hotel to 5 stars. We took our chances and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. It is definitely a little older, yet full of charm. The owners are amazing and very helpful. We arrived a little early but the owners not only let us check-in, they let us choose our room! Our room had a small living room area, a small kitchen area with a microwave and a bedroom with a partition between the two beds so each of us had a little privacy. Despite a little bit of wear and tear as to be expected with an older property if was very clean. If you’re looking for the Four Seasons this isn’t it however the owners were so warm and welcoming we sure felt like we were staying at one! "
"We had a nice day at this property. Miki was super responsive and helpful, which we appreciated. It's an older house (built in 1953) but decorated and outfitted well. Our only issue was that there was air-conditioning in the living room only (maybe I missed that in the listing?) Bedrooms had freestanding fans, which we didn't use at night because they were so loud. But sleeping with the windows open kept us cool enough, and beds are comfortable. The second bathroom is extremely small, just FYI, but functional. Big plus is the neighborhood – one block to the beach and downtown Carlsbad, which is filled with cute shops and restaurants."
"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront condo in Carlsbad. The location couldn't be better—right on the sand with breathtaking ocean views, and just a short walk to great restaurants, coffee shops, and local boutiques.
The unit itself was clean, comfortable, and felt like home from the moment we arrived. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the host’s communication. Every question was answered quickly and kindly, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay.
If you're looking for a relaxing, convenient beach escape with unbeatable views and a top-notch host, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!"
