The location is excellent. You are right next to the train station. Three minutes walking you can connect from here to Kyoto in under an hour. Which is what we did we stayed here to save money on hotel and just took the train over only cost about three US dollars per person and you go one hour to Kyoto and spend the day there as well."

"I will start by saying I normally find premium brands of hotel chains not great value for price. But not the JW Marriott Nara! From the minute we checked in the service and hospitality was tremendous. Even the smell of the hotel was unique and comforting. One of my travel partners bought some of their air “therapy” to take home. Our room was luxurious without being over the top. Amenities like sauna, jacuzzi and pool felt like we were in a high end resort somewhere. The breakfast was fresh with a lot of variety. And lets say the foam “baby deer” on our coffee had my wife wanting to take the barista home. The bar was well stocked and wine choice excellent. A little pricey, but expected. I would highly recommend you stay here when in Nara. We will certainly return! "

"Such a great hotel! Many amenities to enjoy and I really recommend the spa. Breakfast was top tier! Everything was enjoyable. My favorite part was our room. The view was amazing and the staff was always so helpful. They also have a coin laundry. We made sure to use EVERYTHING to our convenience. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful stay!
