Nice place. Nice people. The place is a little dated but fine for the price range. Tons of stuff in walking distance. Seems safe. Traffic is a little heavy at times. Overall a very good experience.

4 stayed. Ok, but best suit would be a couple. Parking pass a really nice touch. Shower needs upgrading to match rest of condo. Queen bed excellent. Came with great accessories for the beach. Pull out couch is adequate. Needs more blankets to use the option of extra floor mat. No dishwasher is fine, but it would be nice to have sink plugs for kitchen to do dishes properly. An easy fix.

The unit was very comfortable for the three of us sisters. We loved the fact that it was close to the elevators! Everything was clean and in good repair. The info book could use a little updating; remove all the references to keys and maybe a few more restaurant options, those with delivery (for those checking in late). And I would recommend leaving the fitted sheet off of the hide-a-bed; we were a little hesitant not knowing if it had been used previously, since it was already in place.

This is a great location. Easy to get to the beach and lots of good food and coffee places. We had 2 teenage boys who used the hideabed. It wasn’t the most comfortable for them. They did leave a roll out mat that we put under the mattress which helped a little. Other than that we had a great stay. All the kitchen items you could need!

Overall not a bad choice. The location is outstanding if staying near Waikiki is the goal. The apartment is of decent size. Communication with the host was fast and fine. Negatives - dirty kitchenware (no dishwasher in the unit), not the cleanest place, pretty rundown building.

The place was nice. Way smaller then I thought and there was some issues. The sliding glass door was broken and when I went to go open it for the first time the whole door almost landed on me which is super scary cause it’s rally heavy. We rented this place for our wedding week and it just wasn’t as nice as the pictures let on. My mother in law stayed with us on night and the pull out couch was super uncomfortable. The bathroom is VERY small like VERY small. But it was clean and it did what it needed to do. Just wish I would have booked a little bit better place for my wedding. The person who owns it was very responsive and had no issues there. Check in was easy they even had it ready for us early and it came with parking which is amazing because that’s very rare right now for Waikiki. For a regular vacation it is nice just definitely on the smaller side.

The property was clean and well equipped, however bathroom could do with a refurb safe and secure included parking on site. Adequate pool and BBQ area on lower level. Short distance from the beach and shops . Host very welcoming via e.mail it was a good base.

Condo was as described with great view. Property manger was not honest / rude. I asked a few days before we arrived if there was anyway we could check in before 3 as our flight arrived before noon. Mark said check in is not until 3 and he would let me know if it was ready before that. I thanked him and got no response back. We arrived at the condo at 2 so I asked Mark if maybe the the room was ready or if we could get our parking pass. He said no check in is not until after 3. No problem just thought I would try. We order groceries and they were going to be delivered between 3 and 5. In case they were delivered early we decided to go up to our room and wait in the hallway at 2:30. At 3:05 still no word from Mark so we decided to try our door. No problem the room was clean and ready for us and had been since at least 2:30. We would have been happy to pay extra to get in the room a little early. Marks communication was very poor and he lied to us. Would not recommend Mark but would recommend the Condo. Other family members were staying here in another condo and got in there room before 1:30 and said there properly manager was awesome and happy to let them in early.

Clean property, close to many restaurants and stores. The beach is a few short blocks away which was amazing but packed when we were there (July). The only downside is there was no real coffee pot, but a single serve keurig (k cups were provided which was amazing!) but we still prefer a full coffee pot!

Clean, cute unit with great view and close walking proximity to gorgeous beaches, restaurants, things to do. Good pool area. Super easy check in. Bed/pull out were not the comfiest but fine. Had most amenities but access directly to beach chairs in room should be standard but we’re provided when they became available. Wonderful balcony and view of ocean to wake up and drink your morning coffee to. Easy access to property manager if required . Was a great stay, Thankyou for having us.

Property owners are great to work with, price was fair, location was excellent and the accommodations meet every need. We came to explore the island not stay in a room. We don’t need a perfect view or high end amenities. The condo had a nice view regardless and all the amenities where more than enough to be comfortable for our stay away from home. This rental will not disappoint if you are looking for something affordable/ practical and clean. From here you have Waikiki beach and all of Honolulu right out the door! You can walk to the strip/ beach: parks and the Zoo. Like 1 block at most!!

Great location - 5 minute walk to the beach. Ensure you arrange to check in correctly as we waited a fair bit of time before we could get into our room. Someone was supposed to meet us on site but this never occurred and hours later I received an email saying they’d automatically programmed the auto lock to allow us access. Mark responded/communicated quickly to my questions.

Our stay was wonderful, thank you for accommodating us. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and balcony has a nice view of the beach. The only feedback we wish to provide is that the air conditioning unit leaks all over the balcony while it’s on, this creates a pool of water that we had to drain daily. The check in process was also a little slower than we are used to. The guest host didn’t touch base with us until after 3:30pm so we found that process a little disjointed and frustrating. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

the apartment was pleasant. The floor was quiet. The neighborhood was close to a lot of good restaurants and the beach. The view was spectacular. The kitchen had a big refrigerator and stove top so we could save a little money making our own breakfast and lunch, then go out for dinner. The only thing that was less than perfect was that we could not figure out how to work the TV. The sign said that the building had 100+ channels in every room. But when we stayed there we came back home very late at night and did not want to call the property managers to ask them how to work the remote control. We even had a 14-year old who couldn't figure it out. It wasnt a big deal because the place was so great. But if they could do anything better, It would be to tell the guests how to work the cable TV. We would definitely stay there again and hopefully we will.

Very clean, great location
Property was even nicer than the pictures. Location was very convenient with easy access to the beach and walkable to all of Waikiki. Very safe area, I felt comfortable running from the room to Diamond Head. Sofa bed was very comfortable and no issue for two adults to use. One of the most impressive things was the communication with the Management team. Mark and his group were always prompt in responding to any emails. We also had multiple flight cancellations and delays in our arriving flights. They stayed in constant contact with us and met us promptly when we arrived at the condo hours after our planned arrival. Gave us the parking pass, showed us all the functions of the room and parking garage. They really went above and beyond in making us welcome. We had been up for over 48 hours when we arrived and it was nice to be treated so kindly. Thank you very much!

Everything that we needed was there. We didn’t have to rush out for food right away. Coffee was there, beds were comfortable. And 2 block walk to beach. Beach towels were good to have. Pool was nice. Quite when we were there.

Perfect location!

We appreciated that the host provided food basics such as salt peppar coffee, tea. After a long journey it is nice to take a tea and not to be forced to do the shopping immediately. The apartment is as promised, clean, well equipped. The only improvement I can suggest is a less noisy air conditioning.

Excellent choice for a condominium in Waikiki
We've stayed numerous times at the Waikiki Banyan, which is only a block away from sheltered beaches that are perfect for children to build sandcastles and romp in the waves. This is the first time we've stayed at a unit run by this property manager, and it was an excellent experience. Communication by email was always prompt and detailed, and the fees and payment schedule were clearly outlined. When we arrived at the airport, we phoned the Guest Host as requested and were met in the lobby of the Banyan by Mark, a friendly gentleman. Since we were already familiar with the complex, we didn't require additional information, but Mark was available to answer questions and the unit also had a binder containing information about local attractions. Our unit was clean and modern, and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and appliances, including a blender that we used regularly to make breakfast smoothies. We all agreed that the kitchen was actually the nicest and best laid out that we'd seen at the Banyan. The bedding situation worked out great. There was a single queen/king bed that my 4 yr old and I slept on, and a twin pullout bed (hidden in an ottoman) that my 11 yr old slept on. My sister slept on the pullout sofa bed. The flooring was bamboo, which felt quite nice on our feet, and although we vacuumed every day to keep the errant sand at bay, what sand remained did not feel gritty or scratchy on the floor. The air condition was a newer model and worked very well, keeping the unit comfortably cool during the day an evening. Lastly, there were also some extra beach chairs, boogie boards, and play buckets/shovels that we made use of at the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Waikiki and in this suite. We were very pleased with and confident with our interactions with the property manager and would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone visiting Waikiki, and in particular families due to the location and kitchen amenities.

Entire experience, from booking on through, was nothing less than wonderful! Super location with all the amenities you need close at hand. Pool, hot tub and bbq grills on 6th floor, though fairly crowded at this time of year, were clean, easy to access and provided more great outdoor enjoyment without even being at the beach. Waikiki beach itself is a very short walk away with amazing sand, surf and the most pleasant beach-side walks during the day and early evening. Renting a car is still worth it, in my opinion (though The Bus is a great option) to find other amazing beaches like Kailua, Ko-Olina, and too many others to mention. You may find it worth while booking a car in advance for your return to the airport, if you have a late night departure as many Canadian flights seem to be, since the Banyan front desk can't store luggage for VRBO guests (so stowing it in a car pending your airport drive may help). Still, a great value when compared with hotels and even other VRBO options. Thanks for your friendly, excellent service Mark and David and get well soon Rob!!

Perfect location ,close to most everything. Nice condo with updated kitchen and roomy living space.
We loved staying at this condo , it's location was perfect. It was wonderful to get up and have coffee every morning while watching the surfers from the balcony. Nice partial ocean view. No car is really necessary if you're going to stay around the Waikiki Beach area. We walked to all the shops, restaurants, zoo. The beach is just two blocks away. I will also say that the free parking was a big plus! Also, Mark and Joey were very pleasant and enjoyable to work with. Following their instructions and getting into the condo was seamless and any questions were answered immediately. All of these things made our stay wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Location, living space amenities, convenient location.
I was in Waikiki for business and chose this property due to location and prefer condos with kitchen and other amenities to hotels. The unit itself is well appointed and comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants and beach. There is a mini mart tucked in corner in Lobby level and Coffee shop as well. Free parking is a real bonus and Tower 1 location makes the unit accessible by elevator.

Rob our contact when we arrived was very helpful with any concerns or questions we had. Two main factors helped us to decide that this particular condo was the right one for us, price and parking included. Two items that could be improved upon, the bathroom functions but it is worn and dated also a dishwasher would be a real nice upgrade. Really who wants to do dishes on holidays? The kitchen has been upgraded with granite counter tops and the bamboo floors are a real nice touch. Enjoy and Mahalo!

Great location to the beach. Somewhat outdated but still had everything we needed.
The hotel itself is very quiet. Could hear traffic outside but that's to be expected where you are located. The beach is very close. Our VRBO rep met us at the hotel within 15 minutes of us arriving so we were able to enjoy more time at the beach. BBQ's are available for use on the pool deck but they are coin operated so heads up for that. The front desk staff were helpful on bus routes but make sure if you need to do laundry to get quarters elsewhere as they don't supply quarters for VRBO vacationers. The TV remote didn't work great but that's minor. Bed was pretty comfy and plenty of towels provided but no dish towels. Nice little deck with a view of the ocean and always a nice breeze. Close to restaurants and bars, just depending on what you want out of a holiday. Place was clean and some updating had been done. Would stay here again.

Good size property which overall was well maintained. However, the tiled floors could have been cleaner and the upholstery needed laundering. It would have been useful to have a paper version of the property details and contacts instead of having to use my iPad every time I needed some information. A list of TV channels would be helpful too. We stayed 10 days, and while there were plenty of towels, a change of bed linen should have been included. I would suggest the owner makes sure the client has all the details required a couple of days before the check in date. There had been a problem with their emails and I spent a couple of hours the day before we were to move in trying to find the owners contact details as I had received no information. Very quick service when we had a small plumbing problem. Would recommend this property.
