Lanikai, which in Hawaiian means heavenly sea, is constantly voted one of the best beaches on the islands, and it's easy to see why. From the pristine blue green water to the perfect golden sand, it's a great spot to soak up some Hawaiian sunshine. The access points to the beach run along a very narrow road in a residential area, so it might take awhile to find parking. Kayakers can be seen heading out to Nā Mokulua, the two small islands less than a mile from the shore. #beach #hawaii #oahu #lanikai #colorful #blue #bestof5

A great place to snorkel or dive. The Sunken City in Kaneohe Bay near the sandbar. This is an old structure that was used in the Vietnam war, now has been taken over by sea life. Easier to get there by boat, anchor to it and have a blast! #localgem #beach
