4/5 - Good
Kapolei was good as a base for exploring Ko Olina Lagoons, North Shore and Kailua Beach in our rented car. It also gave us access to shops that were much quieter than Waikiki. We enjoyed our 4 day stay before heading to busy Waikiki.

A great area. Lots of construction going on so will only get bigger with more facilities in the future. Hotel didn’t have much of a Hawaiian vibe and just felt like another chain hotel. Easy drive to anywhere on the west side of Waikiki.
