Reviewer Comments:
This place has everything you will need. Located close to lots of hikes and in a large walkable neighborhood. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 labradors.
We almost didn’t stay at this property given a string of recent negative reviews. In summary, this is one of the better cabins we’ve stayed at in Tahoe (I've stayed at 20 over the last 2 years) and I have no idea where these reviews are coming from. The size is exactly what you’d expect from the pictures. It’s not huge, but 3 full sized bedrooms with a great living area upstairs. Yea, the wood panels in the bathroom are a bit dingy around the shower, but it’s a shower in a wood cabin… what are you expecting? The neighborhood is really quiet within 20min drive to palisades and Alpine ski resorts and easy to get to.

Hello, overall our experience was positive. A couple of issues, the microwave above the stove was not working, therefore there was not ventilation. The door from the bedroom to the balcony did not close properly and the Direct TV did not work. After making a phone call to your office I learned that a Firestick was provided, it was left on the kitchen table with a note. Firestick worked fine fine.Thank you, Happy New Year! Claudio

Had an amazing time! The house was perfect! The house was very clean and had nice big cozy beds in every room. Also, had an amazing deck to hang out and play cards. Great location and super easy to get to the lake!
The layout of the place worked perfectly for my partner and I and our two friends. And the location is very convenient with proximity to good hiking and visiting sugar pine park. We also loved the bike path that goes right by the house. At night it was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. I slept better than I do at home!
Everything was great. Due to weather there was a power outage and we did not think the house was prepared for that but nothing we couldn’t get at the store. Overall good experience, would come back!

we were excited to stay at this cabin because the location is great, but upon arrival it was dirty. the fans were filled with dust and the sheets were stained in the downstairs and upstairs rooms. the heater was also left on in the upstairs room and we didn’t notice it until our final day. we were wondering why it was SO hot upstairs. it smelled throughout the house like it needed a good cleaning too. the property management company was very responsive when we reached out with our concerns though.
This was the worst rental home I have ever stayed in. First, it is much smaller than it looks in its pictures on the websites. Second, everything about it is old and in disrepair. Both bathrooms have wooden walls all the way around the tub; the wood is rotting and looks disgusting. The tiles (if they are real tiles - they look kind of like a layer of paint on concrete) in one bathroom are cracked and peeling away. Even the fabric shower curtain had a horizontal yellow water stain that went the length of the tub. One overhead light in the kitchen is smashed in; 2 other lights were burnt out. The area rugs in the kitchen are spotted and stained and look decades old. The mattresses and pillows are thin. All the radiators were supposed to be set to "eco" or 55, but the one in my baby's room was not, and we had not realized that, so he woke up freezing cold in the middle of the night. The one and only time we used the dishwasher, it leaked all over the kitchen floor. I left 3 voicemails with the property management and spoke to one person over the phone yet no one has followed up with any of my concerns. This home shows that the owners and property management care nothing about the vacation experience of its renters.

Reviewer Comments:
When we showed up to the house, we noticed that it looks a lot smaller. The photos are taken with really great angles and zoomed out to make the space look bigger. Walked on the back yard and noticed doggy bags with dog poop left behind in the back porch. The house had a really bad smell of dog, and dog pee. The washer was dirty with a lot of dog hair. The flooring on the stairs were loose and one of kids fell going up. One of the dinning room chairs was broken. The upstairs coaches were horribly dirty we put linens over them the whole time. The murphy bed upstairs was broken and unusable we had to remove the mattress and place it in the floor. There is no photos of the bathrooms and its for a reason, they are old, damaged and outdated. The microwave over the stove is broken but there was an extra one. I called the rental company and they did sent out someone right away and fixed some of the small problems. It was a little dissapointing showing up to your vacation to a house with these issues. The house is in a great location, we saw a bear almost every day walking around the area and one day in the backyard. They say you can’t have your dog without a leash, but everyone in the neighborhood walks their dog without a leash.
Property was in a great location and peaceful. The cabin already had most of the amenities necessary for a good vacation.
Exceeded all expectations.

Reviewer Comments:
This neighborhood was very cute, enjoyable to walk in. The front porch was nice to sit on and the bbq has propane plumbed from the house. (We didn’t realize this and called them to bring propane. The agency was very responsive and friendly.) The white leather couches upstairs were fairly dirty and could use a good cleaning and when removing the sheets off of the beds I found a large clump of human hair. When I washed my bathing suits on delicate cold they came out steaming hot, so I think the hot and cold water knobs are reversed. Ruined a couple suits so thought that was worth mentioning. All in all it was a good location, kitchen had everything we needed and it was a cute 3 bedroom with one bed being a Murphy bed. No AC but they did have some fans and we brought some of our own as it was very warm the week we stayed. Freezer has an ice maker, huge perk.

Reviewer Comments:
This nice vacation home was very clean with comfortable beds. The first floor dining area is big enough for family meals. Upstairs is a living room with large couches and TV. The kitchen is pleasant to work in with a large wooden island. There is a path at the top to the cul-du-sac that leads to a National Forest trail that we enjoyed. Down the hill and across the highway is one of the rare public access beaches around the lake where dogs are ok.The house is a short drive from kayak and SUP rentals and markets. The home and yard is a work in progress with recently cut trees and dirt bulldozed in the back, but there’s a pleasant deck in front that’s almost finished. It’s just missing handrails on the stairs. Like a lot of Tahoe homes the entry has electrified bear wires across the front double doors. Be sure you read all the arrival info to the end before trying to enter. or you risk a shock if you do it wrong. The text on the “live electrical wire” warning sign was worn off, so if you’re not from bear country you may not know what you’re looking at. The property management company provided a lot of information about Tahoe in the guide book but not much about trails in the local area, so research it yourself.
