The Maltings

The Maltings

10/10 Excellent
"The restaurant was excellent, Sunday lunch was best I’ve had for a long time so we dined there the following night as well. The breakfast was excellent - the residents breakfast included continental breakfast with ham to carve yourself which melted in your mouth and a choice of hot breakfast - gorgeous eggs royal with generous helping of smoked salmon."

Beautiful, stylish barn. Family & pet friendly. Close to beach. 3 nights min.

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at the barn which is beautiful. Arrival/check-in with parking outside was easy. The barn was spotlessly clean. Comfortable and a perfect space for the 7 of us with so much room. Great communication - Rachel was friendly and kept in touch. Wish we had had more to time to enjoy the amazing collection of books. The children loved Monopoly! Cley was the perfect location for us visiting our favourite spots of Blakeney, Wells and Holkham. A wonderful break. We can’t wait to return."

The Wheatsheaf Pub West Beckham

8/10 Good
"Hey. We did love our stay at the Wheatsheaf. And would definitely return. But not in high temperatures, the room was lovely but so hot we couldn’t sleep. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food good, the breakfast was delicious. As I said, we would love to return."

Owl Barn - a self catering cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Owl Barn - a self catering cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

8/10 Good
"Well located in Morston but the barn itself needs some refurbishment eg shower (too small and weak), aircon (gets very hot upstairs and in the bedrooms at night), furniture (not very comfortable), toilets (where seats are small and wooden) etc. The owner and managing agent were very quick to respond to issues eg wasps nest, need for fans etc. But the barn lacks certain niceties that one would expect. Their welcome pack was also not very welcoming, by Norfolk standards. Note, there is no garden whatsoever and the shingle road outside the property suffers from passing delivery drivers from time to time, so it is not safe to allow young children to go outside the property on their own. Overall, a good stay but not as good as it looks in the photos."

The Flints - sleeps 3 guests in 2 bedrooms

10/10 Excellent
"The Flints is a fantastic place to stay. A great location to explore the coast and villages/towns in the area. A lot happening in the area. Lovely coastal walks from Blakeney. The photographs of the cottage clearly show what to expect. A traditional cottage style with a fabulous extended living/kitchen. The decor is stylish and comfortable. A well equipped kitchen- though the region is full of brilliant places to eat so the cooker remained untouched! The courtyard garden was an absolute treat, breakfast/coffee spot to die for, probably the highlight for me! The traditional cottage stairs leading to a large double bedroom once again tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches, including a useful fan. I slept so well- the mattress was like a cloud! I realise now I am home just how comfortable it was! The single room though aimed at a younger person suited my adult daughter and gave her everything she needed. All in all this is a beautiful cottage and one I would be very happy to return to."

The Feathers Holt

The Feathers Holt

10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay at The Feathers, and would certainly recommend it. The was clean, the food was delicious, particularly the breakfasts and the staff were friendly. When booking the room, the Hotels.com website showed it as not providing towels, but it did, and I advised management, so hopefully that has been corrected. The only negative point which will likely be standard across most Hotels this time of year, is the radiators in the bathroom weren’t on, so there was nothing to dry our wet beach clothes etc. on. Apart from that it was thoroughly enjoyable."
