Dont stay even for 1 night.
A very run down hotel not up to 4star standard. Location is a bit out of the way for sightseeing in the city. Room sizes are ok, I have to ask staff to change bedsheets again as they didnt change bedsheet after previous guest. The hotel needs a renovation asap.

Firstly, the reception staff is most helpful and accommodating. The "concierge" was not so attentive though. The plants around the pools are crumbling compared to my initial visit about 2-3 years ago. The room was adequate but exposed to noises from the neighboring school, traffic, and other residents. However, noise disturbance is lesser on weekends and/or away outdoors during school hours. In a nutshell, I still recommend this property for the quaint surrounding and room but only for the right price.

Overall, hotel was very good. Friendly staff and cleanness. For some, the location may not be very accessible. I did feel that way first time, but along the way, the the hotel's location is not that bad. Sometimes, taxi drivers and grab drivers may not be able to find the location easily. Be patient. They will find it soon.

Worth the whole world to stay
The location is nice. Tucked in a very traditional neibourhood, and one can experience Vietnam to the finest. Staff were very helpful and absolutely enjoyed the stay!

Comfortable hotel
Clean, comfortable, convenient. Decent pricing with a good location ( near buivien, district one and the Ben thanh market ) Friendly hotel staff that can speak decent amount of English, ( enough to hold a decent conversation ) Overall I feel that this is the hotel to book if you require your own kitchen and separate bedrooms with your traveling companion. Only con is that the address is not very easy to find. However, as long as you book your taxi by grab or Uber, the GPS will easily guide the driver to the hotel

Best hotel rooms in HCMC
This is the nicest hotel in HCMC in my opinion. The room are very spacious and very clean. The staff is very helpful and some of them speak English. Here's a tip: Just don't ask for directions. They don't know where anything in the area is and they can't read maps. Other than that, this is a great place to stay and relax. This was my second time here and I'll come back again, for sure.

Stayed in a nice and clean studio apartment with decent space for 1 person. Wished a more comfortable chair and working desk are arranged in the room. I had back ache working in this area and my knees kept knocking against the working desk. At times, experiencing slow Wi-Fi and power down. If some towels can be given in the kitchenette, this will be excellent. Basic gym facilities which operates 24 hours. Sauna room available but not sure whether steam bath room is working. Friendly and helpful hotel staff who can speak English.

In District 3 - around 2km to the city center; Wouldn't recommend this location for tourists as not much to see or do nearby. Recommend staying in District 1 instead. The hotel itself was OK - Service and room was average, the only plus is there is complimentary self-service washing and drying machines in the basement.

Nice, new and a clean hotel. The front desk staff is very nice and friendly. She introduced my friends many places in Ho Chi Minh City. I will chose to stay with Oakwood apartments again next time.

I have stayed here two times over extended periods, and can recommend it. Newly refurbished, clean, and good service from friendly staff. Wifi works alright and the room had a washing machine. Beds are a bit hard. Neighborhood is very local and there is a big elementary school next door which may a little bit noisy.

Mosquitoes Galore
We stayed 5 nights at this place and after seeing the review that it was a brand new hotel, we couldn't be more wrong! Firstly, the worst of all was there was NO HOT WATER for 2 days, in evenings there will be spotty hot water available, but after that, none in the morning / afternoon. This place is so secluded from the city so it'll be hard to get a cab etc. They had a washer, but no dryer?? there was also no where to dry your clothes like a laundry rack etc?! Didn't make sense to have a washer! Last, washer room has no windows, causing mosquitoes from the outside to come into the room everytime you open the door. If you want to maintain your sanity, DO NOT STAY here!!! Here are some photos that shows that hot water was turned off!

A home away from home
The hotel is spanking new and we stayed 3 nights in a studio deluxe apartment. It is equipped to the brim. We only need to buy detergent to wash the kitchen ware and clothing (washing machine is included). You will find good quality products by Samsung and Electrolux and even the ceramic dining ware is high grade. We could simply live a month without missing home! The staffs are conversant in English and very helpful and courteous. The hotel resides in a quaint neighborhood that is worth exploring if you are into nostalgia and see the true livelihood of the common Vietnamese. Distance to District 1 by car is a mere 15 minutes or less. The hotel always book Vinasun taxi if required.

Oasis in Saigon
Absolutely fabulous, cannot fault this place. It has only opened recently. The building is beautiful, the rooms immaculate, the staff are wonderful. It's in a perfect location in district 3, away from the madness of district 1, yet only $1.50 in a taxi to get there. The area is quiet and relaxed and still has the hustle bustle feel and windy streets with enough activity going on. The entire place is faultless and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
