"Hate to give this historic hotel a bad rating but it is a must. Parking was atrocious, no where to park to check in and the gate people were not helpful at all. The bathrooms in the main hotel were dirty. The room they gave us for $345 was subterranean in the Aspire building. When we went to check out at 7:45 am there was no one at the front desk and it had a sign saying go to the main holding which again, no parking and pretty far away. I was beyond disappointed and disgusted by this hotel. It was a huge let down to our trip."

"I don't understand how this Coyote Mountain Lodge received such high ratings of "Excellent" in Expedia. I think it below average at best. The only good thing about the hotel is that it's cheap at $150/night, and you get what you pay for - no room service, really bad free breakfast, and a very uncomfortable cheap beds. The rooms are clean, and the shower water is hot, but the room did have a strange smell. The Expedia site pictures of this hotel is much nicer than reality! If your just looking for a "cheap place" to sleep and don't care about any of the amenities typically offered by hotels - this is your place. But be warned, after along day of hiking, you may want a more comfortable bed to rest and recover in. The mattress was thin and too firm. I personally would not stay here a second time."

"What a great place to stay in Estes Park! Walk to local restaurants, shops and attractions or just relax and enjoy the balconies (there are two) overlooking the Riverwalk and river. We saw a herd of about 8 elk one morning crossing the river and heading up the hill. The condo is huge, clean and well equipped with everything you will need. Note: since the condo is on the 2nd floor and has balconies, there are stairs. If anyone in your party is unable to do stairs this might not be for you. You do have the option to put all your luggage, etc inside the door and bring it up at your leisure."
