" This hotel could not have had a better location for visiting San Diego. It is just across from the harbor and a short walk from several attractions. It is also just across the street from a trolley stop. Another convenience of this hotel is that it has three on-site restaurants. We loved the deli. It was a great place for breakfast at a reasonable price. "

"We were not pleased with our stay. We were required to sign a waiver since we had our dog with us agreeing to a charge of $250 fee if the floor gets soiled from our dog. When we checked into the hotel room, there was a stain on the floor and I made sure to call the front desk so I was not charged. The bathroom towels also had stains and we were placed in a corner room with a fence as our view. The fridge is under the bed nightstand which is an odd place for a fridge. Staff not very friendly. "

"The property was amazing the staff was friendly we went to both pools 10/10 the firefly restaurant was a 10/10 and had a lot of families there would recommend this place for families very family friendly environment! "

"Where do I even start? Our booking promised EV parking which of course was a lie bc they don't actually offer that. Instead, they charge $28/night for parking which is criminal considering the parking lot was full on both nights so we had to park half a mile away in a parking garage. We had to change rooms TWICE because the rooms were so dirty. Stains on the sheets, crumbs on the couches, stains all over the bathroom floor, toilet seat with hairs on it, hairs on the shower walls, rust on the lighting fixtures, wallpaper peeling off the bathroom wall & musty smelling carpets. Not only that, the mattresses are insanely old box-spring mattresses. We're young with no back issues & we could hardly fall asleep on the mattress. The first room had such an old mattress, that half of the box spring seemed to be depressed. When we finally got transferred to a new room (third room), while it was cleaner than the previous ones, the mattress was still horrible. For a place that charges as much as the Hilton, it's INSANE that they’re clearly using the cheapest mattresses that are probably over a decade old. Most of the staff seemed to gaslight us and would make it seem like no one has ever had any issues. I would ALMOST believe it if not for the fact that as we were complaining to the front desk, a family walked by and immediately told the staff "the new room is better, less of a smell. I think it's the old carpets”. We ended the trip early because of how gross the room was."

"There really needs to be more than one tennis court and a SEPERATE basketball court. There's been such great effort put into the pool areas while the tennis court hasn't changed since I was here in the 80s. A resort that's all about comfort, amenities and family fun should have a microwave. Dining options are far too limited to play this game. We have kids and babies. Get some dang microwaves! Aside from theose gripes, the Sheraton has been a family goto for years. It's always a pleasant, relaxing stay. Nice views out of either side. Especially the Bay Tower which, being further down the peninsula has a direct view of the harbor."

"The property itself is so beautiful. Great location, nice pools and restaurants. It’s the room itself that is dirty and bedding had bad odor we didn’t even spend the night. "
