The bunk area was very nice - and the shower was right there and easily accessible. The breakfast was simple but they had gluten free options. It's almost right in the middle of town so everything is very close. The staff was knowledgable about options on the island.

Great location, easily accessible by public transport, walkable to the A-Bomb Dome and the main shopping strip. Nice breakfast spread too. Never mind the room being a shoe box, it’s standard in Japan. But it’s clean and homely, and it’s all one needs.

Really loved staying at this hotel. Cozy, convenient, and very comfortable overall. It’s close to Hiroshima Station (just a couple of streetcar stops away) and also within easy reach of the Peace Memorial Park. There’s a streetcar stop right next to the hotel that also takes you directly to the ferry terminal for Miyajima Island, which made getting around very easy. The layout is nice and practical, and breakfast was a highlight. Great variety, and even when it was busy the line moved quickly with only a short wait. The dessert selection was especially good, particularly the lemon-based sweets. The hotel also has a public bath, although I didn’t get a chance to use it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The area feels very safe and well connected, with retro streetcars running through the city.

Terrible smell as smoking is allowed in the middle of the entrance lobby. Also, the smallest and outdated bathroom facilities. Check-in staff was most helpful, but when we asked to call a taxi upon departure, we were given a card with a telephone number… When we explained that we don’t speak Japanese and the taxi company certainly doesn’t speak English… they very reluctantly called for us… Troubling to say the least! Other than that, the location is perfect if you want to visit the museum and drop-off site.

Great hotel

Great hotel and a good location. It's a bit outside of the most busy area, so it's quiet but still close to the busy areas. Very close to the Peace Memorial area, which is amazing. The staff is great, and the breakfast is amazing.
