It’s a very old building, not maintained well. Floors are tilted and old. Garden is like jungle and not maintained well. We stayed far end ocean side but grass and bushes covered the windows and don’t have clear ocean view. There are many bugs on the beds and in the room. The staff are work holiday European girls and nice and cute. No air conditioners in the room and entire hotel. I felt like we were camping in the wilderness. I guess it’s OK for a night in Hawaii big island but I would never come back again.

The staff is very nice. They return my wife's jackets. We checked out after ONE night. The room is Bad and my wife got sick because there is NO HOT water the other conditions of the room is way below average. The room has no Air Conditioning, the bathroom is rusty and dirty, the electric plug fell apart, the bathroom window screen is broken, insects were in the room, snake/lizards can get in the room easily. My wife got sick after she got a cold shower in the first night. That is why we have to cancel the remaining nights of the booking. Please proceed to refund the remaining 4 night of rents (from 2 separated bookings). Noisy: the noise is bad, including the noise from people upstairs and from the insects in the backyard, garden. We could not sleep the whole night.

The staff was very kind and helpful, breakfast was pretty good, pastries, cookies, fruit. My room had no AC but the fan worked well. The room was over $100, maybe 120 but should have been priced about 70 since it had breakfast. When walking down the hallways and looking at the floor, the planks appear to be slanting, as if the property is sinking. If you walk all the way to the end theres a whole section of building that has sunk and isnt riped off or anything. Its kind of cool looking and my kids wanted to explore it but i stopped them. The room looked like all repairs were done by someone that youtubed it and didnt care what it looked like. They woman at the front desk warned me it was an older hotel but for real, that doesnt mean skimp on repairs. Theres a lot of overgrown on the property that blocks the ocean view. I could probably go on with this but i dont want to.
