"The lady on reception upgraded me to a King room from a Queen. Very friendly, arranged a taxi for me, as due to the local council Uber's don't go from there. Room service was good, food lovely. Breakfast, great selection & the lady & gentleman there today were very welcoming. The gentleman in a very smart suit was old school, I hope he doesn't mind me saying that but he was full of the traditional values of the hotel, he has worked there for 40 years. Will be back thank you."

Room was very large and bed comfortable but was so hot, no air con on a very hot day which is understandable in England but the radiators were on. Biggest disappointment for us was breakfast, all self service and the cooked items looked like they had hardly seen the pan. For the price would have expected some cooked to order items."
