We love the historic look of the Balsam mountain Inn, we learned that it changed ownership a few years back and the new owners are looking to preserve the classic look that appeals to everyone so much. They want to keep it as original as possible which is great, the down side of that is they removed the window units from the rooms. "The room was huge allowing my husband and I to move around without having to dodge each other. Everything was clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back again. Thank you Expedia for a great price for this luxury. Oh the food at the resort was amazing and so delicious. You really feel like you’re in Vegas without driving or flying across the country. "
