"What a lovely hotel! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was delicious, the room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The photos of the hotel really need updating because they do not do it justice at all — it’s far lovelier in person. I’m super picky when it comes to hotels, but I would definitely recommend staying here. When I received my booking confirmation, the photo of the standard room made me question my choice, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The hotel exceeded all expectations."

"Welcomed by a very friendly receptionist and advised where best to park on site and where the room is located - the hotel has several separate buildings Large, pet-friendly, ground floor room with easy access to hotel grounds. Dinner at the hotel was ok, if a little on the pricey side for quantity and quality. Breakfast great with a good selection of hot and cold choices. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again but personally, may choose to eat elsewhere."

"We had a relaxing stay at the Snooty Fox. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. The location was very good too, right in the centre of town. We found it very quiet during the night…."

"The cottage was decorated and designed to an extremely high standard giving a warm and welcoming feel . All furniture and fittings were of a very high standard . For practicality reasons a few basic additions would have been useful. A bowl for the sink if needed , coasters for drinks and oven gloves. There was no instructions for removal of rubbish or recycling. The hot water was far to hot , almost at boiling point. That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday."
