"We only stayed for one night, in room 10 on the ground floor. Lovely view over the garden, which with the weather been kind we could sit out in the evening. Breakfast was excellent, nicely cooked and plenty of choice. Ended up in the Rose and Crown pub (Green King) about 5 minutes walk away, which was just ok."

I got my best nights of sleep, my hottest showers with the best water pressure, and wonderful food and drink. They made me feel at home and it is the only stop of my stay that I eagerly plan to return to. They helped with some logistical problems, answered questions, and made me feel part of the family. "After reading bad reviews about this place after I made my booking I was a bit worried about what I had booked... but much to my surprise the place was fine, could do with a little update in the rooms but apart from the place it’s self was ideal for my work trip and will continue to stop here! "
