Loved our stay here! My spouse and I were in Helsinki for a conference at the university of Helsinki (can walk to or take the tram). This hotel was perfect for us: the kitchen was great, worked well, nicely appointed. There's a market at the end of the block so you can stock up. The room is small but comfortable, nice windows, clean. Bathroom was perfect, even included a tiny clothes washer that worked great. There's lots around in the neighborhood, good food and drink (coffee and bars), but also very walkable to the downtown area. If you're heading somewhere a little farther (we took the ferry to Tallin), you can hop on the tram right in front of the market down the street. There's also a shared kitchen in the lobby, some office spaces you can reserve, even a pool table. We needed a late check out and the staff was perfectly accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!

Nicely maintained property. Green, innovative, centrally located (!!!) and nicely maintained property. A couple of small issues for this senior. A little confused by the check-in process. Perhaps some instructions as to toggling between English and Finnish (and other languages). Also, the lack of an easy chair for reading on my iPad or working on my laptop forced me to sit on my bed. The first evening, after having worked on the bed, with pillows propped behind me, I got up to work at the table. But because my head was absorbed in my work, I’d forgotten where I was and fell off the platform on which the bed was stationed. No harm done except for a skinned knee, but that laptop could have been damaged! But exercising a bit of mindfulness allowed me to stay comfortably and happily for the remaining 2.5 days.

This hotel is fantastic! I would definitely stay here again. The spa is lovely, rooms are well done with all the amenities, fitness room is convenient, restaurant is wonderful, and it is close to public transport and a grocery store. It is a great location near the harbor and amazing local restaurants. Definitely eat pizza at the Pizzeria Via Tribunali.
