"We stayed at The Cabin at Alta Vista for a few nights this April and it was exactly as advertised. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the highlights was the sunroom—the views are spectacular, and we were lucky enough to see a family of about 10 deer right outside on our first day!The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into the amenities; the coffee and tea selection was actually much better than what you’d find at a high-end hotel. One tip for future guests: the drive up the mountain is stunningly beautiful, but it can be a bit challenging. I’d definitely recommend timing your arrival for daylight hours to make the climb easier. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Great cozy cabin to getaway to! Plenty of room for 6 of us to relax. Beds were comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, and hot tub was a nice perk. Will keep in mind if we come back to the area!"

"It was ok. To get entry code one day ahead, I had to call. Customer service is awesome. Spoke to Westa, she was very helpful. Initially right after checking in there was some odor a, house is lot opened for a while. AC was irregular- cold in 1st level but feel hot upper levels. One would feel cold air hitting feet while standing near kitchen sink! Bathroom were new. Not extra towels or sheets! Kitchen is well stocked with utensils.we left specula/ tongs as well. Outside grill was disaster. We had to cook in oven inside. There are obnoxious fees invented to squeeze clients. It seemed expensive for 1 grand for 2 nights.. "

"This property was perfect for our peaceful retreat. Traveling with babies can always be daunting, but i was pleasantly surprised by all the baby amenities at the cabin. There were baby plates, bowls, and utensils. Even though we did plan ahead and bring our own highchairs, we did notice there were actually options for highchairs at the cabin already! Also, the host was amazingly quick and friendly with all communication."
