Nestled on a beautiful, wooded hillside overlooking the Shenandoah Valley, is the getaway cabin you’ve been looking for. Take in the sunsets over the Shenandoah Valley from the beautiful deck or from the cozy sunroom. This cabin has everything you need to rest, relax, and reconnect with family. It’s perfect for couples, small families, or individual work trips.

Connect with nature as many deer and other wild life often wonder right up to the front door. If you love history, antiques, and excellent local restaurants, the cabin is a quick twenty minute drive to historic Harpers Ferry. Do you prefer the excitement of thundering hooves and cheering crowds? Charles Town Races are a quick 20 minutes as well. Is hiking, biking, rafting, and tubing up your alley? With the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers converging, the Appalachian trail crossing, and 4000 acres of the Shenandoah national park, you could enjoy a different adventure every day of the week.

This mountain top getaway also sits just up the road from Mountain Lake Club, where you will find live music, good food, beach lake access, and plenty of summer fun!

MOUNTAIN ROADS: In the event of snow, 4 wheel drive may be necessary. The roads up to this cabin are steep and narrow at times.
Steep mountain roads are often what it takes to get incredible views like the ones from this cabin, and those who love adventure won't be disappointed!

1)We will only accept dogs.
2)No Dogs under the age of 2.
3) Maximum of 2 dogs per stay.
4)Dogs must be kept on a leash at all time when outside. This is the law in Jefferson County.
5)Please keep pets off upholstered furniture.
6)Please crate your dogs if they are left in the house alone for more than 30 minutes.
7) Maximum of 8 day stay with pets.
8)An additional non-refundable $40 pet fee will be charged at check out.

Perfect getaway

This was the second time we stayed at this cabin and it was even better than before! It was clean, quiet, and has lots of nature views. Additionally the host was very responsive and provided tons of useful info about the area. Steam shower was the cherry on top!

The cabin was very nice and quaint. We had a nice stay. The view from the sunroom is great amazing. The place is very cozy and made for a great night away.

Great getaway!

My husband and I stayed here and had a blast. The place was great, host was very communicative, and the location was great for harpers ferry, hiking, and wineries and breweries. We would definitely stay here again and may bring the kiddo next time.

Beautiful location

My family stayed here while visiting for a wedding. It met all of our needs and was super clean. The drive was pleasant. Lots of wildlife around to watch for in the evening. We really enjoyed the steam shower and covered porch area. If we need a place to stay in the area we will definitely return.

Perfect get away!

This place has amazing views, clean rooms, and plenty of things to do! Brigid was in constant communication. This house was also quiet and cozy with plenty of wildlife!

Sister getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a little sister getaway. The cabin was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The welcome basket was so thoughtful and such a nice addition. If you enjoy wildlife and a peaceful escape in nature, you will not be disappointed!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This property was quite wonderful. Nice and quiet. An abundance of wildlife visited while we were there. Deer with their babies chipmunks, plenty of birds. I even had a coyote run across the backyard. The property was literally 20 minutes from everywhere. A nice added touch was that there was only TV in the bedrooms. The sun room and deck were great to just sit and relax. Highly recommend booking this property if you just want to get away for a weekend wind down

We stayed at the cabin in the woods overnight whilst visiting the Harpers Ferry region. It was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do. The cabin itself was very comfortable for four adults and we enjoyed our time away from the city.

Great House, Great Views

99% positive things to say about this place. The views, the kitchen, the beautiful room facing down the mountain was our favorite room to do things.The mattresses are a little too forgiving. We prefer stiffer mattresses than were provided. And the drive up, if not used to driving up a mountain, was a bit terrifying the first time. But you get used to it. Sort of.Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we decide to spend time in the area again.

Relaxing Stay

The house was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with it's heated floor and rain shower. Having two porches was enjoyable. The little extras like tea and coffee, snacks and games were appreciated.

Secluded rocky home

The home is situated up several narrow, winding roads. I don't recommend finding it in the dark. The rain shower shower-head is wonderful, but the shower size is too big for the room. There is no room for toiletries @ the sink. A luggage shelf would be helpful. There are no grocery store nearby. Bring your food with you.

Nice home with great outdoor space

Really nice house that was accurate to listing. Bathroom in particular was nicely furnished with a great shower room. Great view from the indoor deck area. Nice outdoor space with well-done landscaping and a fire pit. The property owner was also highly flexible with needs for my pet. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.
