The room needed a lot of repairs...there was a hole in the wall and peeling paint on the ceiling. Dried bugers had been smeared on the wall by the door, I had to take pics in order to protect myself from being blamed and took to the front desk. I pulled back the blanket/sheet and found a dirty Texas A and M sock which I took to front desk and they did nothing about. Air conditioner did not work consistently. Pics are included....

I had a great experience with Hotel RIU, the staff was very friendly and welcoming! Everything touristy is super close and easy to get to, with most distances being 20-minute walks, if you’re not comfortable with taking the subway. I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future!!
